Washington:
Is the United States preparing to launch an attack on Iran? Is America going to intervene in the large-scale protests being held against Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei? Will the world’s superpower stand by the Iranian protesters? Based on the recent statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump, the answer appears to be yes.
The protests against Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei have intensified dramatically. Large numbers of people have taken to the streets to express their anger. The movement has now entered its 15th day, and the intensity is increasing day by day. Iran is witnessing unrest on a scale not seen since the 1971 Iranian Revolution.
Public anger is erupting against Khamenei’s authoritarian rule. On the other hand, the Khamenei government is brutally suppressing the protesters across the country. Reports indicate that more than 150 people have been killed so far in these protests.
